I have autism and I try to use original avatars. Not necessarily saying all autistic people suffer from those symptoms, just saying that quite a large number of people do, and a large majority of GoAnimate users are in fact autistic. |

Lack of creativity is a myth, autistic people are known to be very creative, and even I am. Second of all, autism makes difficulties in imitating peers, but it causes repetitive behaviors. Get yo facts straight m'kay? Third of all, using " suffers from autism"? Really?? It's not a disease. Don't trust Autism Speaks.. Sorry, I just really, really hate it when people are ignorant about mental disorders |

I have met many autistic people, a large amount of them are not very creative, often taking "Inspiration" from others sources, I am not saying all but a large amount are uncreative and most psychologists would agree, 2.one of the key symptoms of autism is repetitive behaviour so really you should get your facts straight. 3. all autistic people suffer in some capacity because of their condition, some more than others, people who deviate from the social norm in general suffer, whether they be disabled, from a different culture, or uneducated, I do not take my information from autism speaks, it doesnt need to be a disease to cause suffering. |
